Portal Administration

Digital twin portals require two administrator roles to be assigned - Portal Admin or Group Admin - with responsibility for managing data sources, portal configuration and users.

Key responsiblities include:

User and group management: Admins can add, remove or modify user accounts, set permissions and manage roles. Controlling access to different parts of the platform and restricted portals is extremely important for ensuring security and privacy.
Data sources management: The console includes tools for integrating with data sources, including restricted data sources, and enabling visualisation of geospatial data in the DTV mapping portals.
Portal configuration: Allows for the configuration of various restricted and open portals, including naming, publishing and managing access to them.

The DTV Admin Console is accessed through a web browser and requires secure authentication via https://digitaltwin.vic.gov.au/account/login/
