Digital Twin Victoria Platform Help Pages
Tools for Exploring your Data
When you launch the Digital Twin Victoria, it opens a 3D web-based mapping experience that can be used to support authoritative data sharing, collaboration, and decision making.
The platform uses a Terria Maps interface built on Cesium technology, that has a range of tools and features available.
Sources data from authoritative catalogues including Discover and access Victorian Government open data | data.vic.gov.au and https://data.gov.au/home.
Enables easy and intuitive access to basic web mapping functions without the need for any software or training.
Largest collection of high-resolution 3D data for Victoria
Ability to upload and visualise large and complex Building Information Models (BIMs) right into the web browser.
View and analyse data right in the platform, or use the comprehensive catalogue to find web services (where available) to plug into your own GIS or other software.
Using the Shadow Analysis Using the Line of Sight Tool
Comparing Datasets Spatial Query Tool
